On a chilly Williamsburg night, the student body fills into the Wren Courtyard, where festive cressets (wood-burning torches) warm the crowd. The students are treated to live festive music and singing, student reflections on themes of peace, joy and gratitude, and the reading of a special story.  Afterward, frozen students make their way into the Great Hall (masks required inside Wren) to toss ceremonial sprigs of holly into the Yule log fire for good luck. Then it's hot cider and sugar cookies for everybody.

COVID-19 NOTICE
Masks are required if you plan to go inside Wren to toss holly on the fire. If you plan to attend only the outdoor portion, masks are optional, but strongly encouraged if unable to maintain social distancing.
