Deborah Denenholz Morse, Sara E. Nance Professor of English

Deborah Denenholz Morse is the inaugural Sara E. Nance Professor of English. She specializes in Victorian studies, English novel, the animal in Victorian literature, feminist studies.

Her lecture is titled, ?Resistance, Art and Animals in Anne Bront?.?

She has authored several books, including Reforming Trollope: Race, Gender, and Englishness in the Novels of Anthony Trollope (Ashgate Publishing, 2013) and others.

The Nance Professorship is generously endowed by Peter and Judy Nance, who will attend Professor?s Morse?s inaugural lecture. The lecture is free and open to the public.
