Teaching & Learning Talk + Workshop | Universal Design: Making Classes more Accessible & Rigorous

Thursday, December 2, 2021 //

12:30 - 1:30 pm Teaching & Learning Talk

1:30 - 2 pm Workshop

Location: Hybrid - G64 [Swem Library, ground floor near the Print Shop] or Zoom

How can we make our courses more accessible for our diverse students while enhancing rigor? Professor and STLI Fellow Leslie Cochrane will talk about her project on accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Come for the first hour to hear about taking an inclusive approach to accessibility in the college classroom. If you're available, stay for the next half hour to apply UDL ideas to one of your own courses!

Boxed lunch is provided for in-person attendees (lunch selections must be submitted no later than Monday, November 29). Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
