Join the FPRI at the William & Mary Washington Center for a special conversation with Ali Nazary, Head of Foreign Relations for the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, moderated by FPRI Senior Fellow, Phil Wasielewski and FPRI Director of Research, James Ryan.
In the year since the departure of the U.S. Military from Afghanistan and the unexpectedly swift takeover by the Taliban, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, centered in Panjshir province and led by Ahmad Massoud, has shouldered the burden of resistance to Taliban rule in the country.
Our conversation will address the aims, strategy, and politics of resistance in a perilous time for the people of Afghanistan.
