[PAST EVENT] Abortion Rights in America: A Discussion
Access & Features
- Free food
Join the Public Discourse Initiative on Wednesday, April 11, during the lunch hour (Room 124) as it hosts a discussion between Advocates for Life and If/When/How (formerly Law Students for Reproductive Justice) on abortion rights in America. Professor Grove, renowned constitutional scholar, will provide everyone with a crash course in abortion jurisprudence. Then, the students will take over with a thoughtful discussion about the proper role of government in this area and the legal and policy issues surrounding abortion. Each group will argue their case and the audience will be invited to ask questions and offer thoughts. Come listen, contribute, and challenge your own views.
The event is graciously cosponsored by the American Constitution Society and the Federalist Society.
