The Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Legal Society (DPCLS) and the Student Intellectual Property Society (SIPS) are excited to bring you a new speaker to share her knowledge on the culture and challenges of working at a large firm and for herself. Please join us in RM 135, on March 14th during the lunch hour.

Tricia Dunlap is a corporate attorney with experience  in regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and sustainability.  Prior to law school, Tricia was a high school teacher. At age 40, she began law school, and subsequently joined McGuireWoods as a member of the regulatory compliance, real estate, and sustainability groups. Following her firm experience, Tricia founded Dunlap Law, a boutique corporate law firm in Richmond, Virginia where she specializes in business, intellectual property licensing, and regulatory compliance. Her practice primarily serves the Virginia and Washington, DC areas and offers sustainability counsel nationwide. Tricia’s expertise in corporate sustainability provides a unique benefit to her clients and helps them measure and manage their non-financial risks, from traditional IP protection to emerging issues of data privacy and cybersecurity.
