[PAST EVENT] BLSA Speaker Series: Jimmy Robinson Jr., Managing Partner at Ogletree Deakins

Mr. Robinson Jr. grew up in Alabama and is now a Founding Shareholder of Ogletree Deakins’ Richmond office and serves as the office’s Managing Shareholder. His practice focuses on traditional labor and employment litigation matters. Mr. Robinson is also an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond where he teaches Employment Law & Policy and Labor Law. He is the former President of the Virginia State Bar, Young Lawyers Conference, and the former President of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, he has over 16 years of experience serving as an advisor and advocate for both private, and public schools – from community colleges to statewide university systems. He is also heavily involved in public interest work and has represented the indigent in custody and domestic relation matters, provided pro bono simple wills, advance medical directives and powers of attorneys to First Responders.
