Mark Newcomb, Counsel and Vice President - Claims & Insurance at ZIM American Integrated Shipping, will give a history of the unique piece of legislation that is the Helms-Burton Act. This includes the passage of the act, its historical application, current and future enforcement. Mr. Newcomb will also explain how the Act applies specifically to his industry, maritime shipping.
