The Institute of Bill of Rights Law will host the 2017 Supreme Court Preview on September 15-16, 2017 at the Law School. The Preview will feature a moot court and various panels on Friday, 9/15 and Saturday, 9/16. For more information about the event and to register, visit the Eventbrite site. The Preview is offering a $100 discount to W&M Law alumni who use the code ?WMALUMNI?. Students at the Law School may attend for free (but are asked to register in advance by using this form).
The 2017 Preview will host three federal court of appeals judges, 16 Supreme Court advocates who have collectively argued more than 300 cases before the Supreme Court, and leading Supreme Court reporters and columnists from the nation's top newspapers. The Preview has been approved for 6 CLE credits in Virginia.
Advocates include former Solicitors General Paul Clement, Greg Garre, and Donald Verrilli and federal court of appeals judges Patricia Millet, Jeffrey Sutton and Pamela Harris. Panelists also include Supreme Court reporters from such papers as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times.
