[PAST EVENT] ELPR Spring Symposium 2018
Access & Features
- Registration/RSVP
The Environmental Law & Policy Review is a nationally acclaimed environmental law journal. Each year ELPR hosts a symposium to delve into the new and emerging issues in environmental law, energy law and policy.
This year, our spring symposium will bring in experts, professionals, and academics to discuss the ever-increasing issue of climate change resiliency. Hampton Roads is particularly threatened by rising seas; the region serves as a lens to the future policy needs of all coastal communities. Adapt, reinforce, or retreat? What will it cost to withstand recurrent flooding? How will our infrastructure operate under increasing environmental pressure? The decisions made in Hampton Roads today will affect the future of the millions who live in this thriving sea-side region.
Breakfast and lunch served. Reception to follow.
Come join ELPR to explore this defining environmental problem of our era.
