The Choir of William & Mary, under the direction of James Armstrong, will give its Pre-Tour Concert on Sunday, February 24 at 8 PM at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham (520 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA) The program entitled ?Alleluia! Three Hundred Years of Celebration in Song? will feature works from England, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Russia, and the United States by Buxtehude, Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, Chesnokov, Skulte, Gjeilo, Poston, Randall Thompson, Copland, Whitacre, as well as African American spirituals arranged by Dawson and Belfield. Admission is free and open to the public.
