The ensemble -- Jorg-Michael Schwarz, violin; Karen Marie Marmer, violin; John Moran, cello and viola da gamba; and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord -- was formed in The Netherlands in 1991. REBEL performs at European and American venues, such as the Holland Festival Oude Muziek, Tage Alter Musik Berlin, the Konzerthaus (Vienna), La Chapelle Royale (Versailles), the Handel Festspiele (Germany), and the Library of Congress, the Da Camera Society, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Boston and Berkeley Early Music Festivals.
