Pianist Thomas Rosenkranz has performed on four continents and is in demand internationally as a soloist, chamber musician and artist-teacher. As a Cultural Ambassador of the U.S. Department of State, he often travels to North Africa and the Middle East performing both traditional Western and contemporary repertoire and collaborating with musicians from other countries. Mr. Rosenkranz has worked with such distinguished composers as John Adams, George Crumb and Frederic Rzewski. He has been featured at the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center, as well as at festivals in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Luxembourg and Tunisia. He has appeared as a soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony, the National Orchestra of Beirut and the Northwest Chamber Orchestra of Seattle. His performances have been broadcast worldwide as part of the WGBH Boston program, Art of the States.
