Join W&M Libraries on Friday, March 31 for the 5th Annual William & Mary Hip Hop Collection Celebration, an event dedicated to hip hop music and culture.

The event will feature a panel of local artists and musicians discussing the film Straight Outta Compton. Confirmed panelists include Monty Ross (Spike Lee's longtime producer and co-founder of 40 Acres and a Mule Productions) and Enjoli Moon (founder of the Afrikana Independent Film Festival). The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Swem Library's Ford Classroom, ground floor. Reception to follow. Refreshments will be provided.

Prior to the event, guests are welcome to attend screenings of Straight Outta Compton on March 29-30 at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Swem Library's Botetourt Theatre, ground floor.

Attendees are asked to RSVP online or by calling (757) 221-7872 by March 27. These events are free and open to the public. Parking passes are not required Fridays after 5 p.m.
