[PAST EVENT] PhysicsFest Homecoming Reception and Nobel lecture

Physics department would like to welcome all alimni, members of William and Mary community and general public to int virtual Homecoming event.
We will start at 2pm by offering a brief public lecture, inspired by 2020 Nobel prize followed by a Q&A session. Prof. Marc Sher will deliver the talk: "Nobel Prize: the prediction and discovery of the black holes".
After that we will have a reception where our visitors will be able to to interact with physics faculty and students.

This event is a part of the virtual 2020 PhysicsFest, in which the audience is invited to "visit" physics research groups and enjoy physics demonstrations and activities.
