The Chesapeake Bay watershed is home to hundreds of bird species, each with its own unique calls and adaptations to help survive in its habitat. Join special guest speaker Ned Rose, youngest member of the Williamsburg Bird Club and former summer camper at VIMS, as he explores familiar and rare birds of our region. Learn about the important ecological role birds play in the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem by observing displays and specimens, participating in hands-on activities involving bird adaptations, and creating bird-themed crafts.
