Mollusks are soft-bodied invertebrates, most of which have a hard shell. Slugs, snails, octopuses, squids, clams, oysters, and mussels are all types of mollusks. Mollosks are incredibly fascinating animals and play a very important role in the ecosystems they inhabit.

Join Samantha Askin, graduate student at VIMS, at 6:00 PM on the CBNERR Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CBNERRV/)  as she helps us understand the importance of mollusks in the Chesapeake Bay and how human activity impacts these animals. Samantha and educators from CBNERR will be availble from 6-7 PM to respond to your questions on Facebook.

This talk is designed for youth and families, but all ages are welcome to join!
