[PAST EVENT] Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection Day

Facilities Management, Environmental Health & Safety and the Committee on Sustainability are working together to host a hazardous materials and electronic waste drop-off event for the campus. Instead of throwing those used batteries, broken appliances and other materials in the trash or dumping chemicals down the drain, bring them to the W&M Hall parking lot on Friday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and we will collect them to be recycled and/or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. This is a great way for faculty and staff to clear out space in their offices and for students to dispose of cleaning supplies and other unwanted items as they prepare to move out for the summer. Check the Facilities Management website to see a full list of items that will be accepted for disposal.
