The VIMS chapter of SWMS has invited Paula Jasinski to come and speak about her experiences as a marine scientist, science communicator, and business owner this Wednesday, April 18th. She will be speaking at 3 pm in the McHugh Auditorium. There will be a reception (with alcohol and snacks) in the CBH atrium at 4:30.

There will also be a student lunch with Paula at 1 pm. Please email me if you are interested in attending and I will update you on the details as we plan the event. 

Paula is the president and co-founder of Green Fin Studio, an environmental marketing and communication business. She has a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia and an MS from right here at VIMS. She also worked as a fisheries biologist for NOAA.
