Tagged Shark being released

You may be familiar with animal tagging from television programs such as Shark Week. This lab will allow you to investigate the types of questions and answers that can be addressed with animal tagging technology. Participants will be able to practice tagging a real fish and will hear from Lindsay Laughner, OCEARCH Education Ambassador, about OCEARCH's shark tagging research. 

This is the January installment of the 2019 Discovery Lab Series. Reservations to this free, family-friendly event are required due to limited space. Call 804-684-7061 for further information.
