In conversation with ACS Chapter Mentor Professor Eric Kades, Jared Yates Sexton will discuss his personal experiences as a political journalist and the general tenor of the American public’s reaction to political journalism after the 2016 election, as well as his recent book "American Rule: How a Nation Conquered the World but Failed Its People." Professor Sexton will draw on credentials as an author, regular contributor to the New York Times and the New Republic, and Associate Professor of Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern University.
