Hands-On Workshop | Build a Public Exam for Your Class

Friday, October 22, 2021 // 2:30 - 4 pm

Location: G64 [Swem Library, ground floor near the Print Shop]

If you think that a public exam format might be a good fit for you, then this workshop is intended to make the first steps easier. We will work through some framing exercises and guided writing of questions. The goal is to give you a good start on thinking about logistics and communication with students while also helping you to finish 1-2 public exam questions for your own class. Participants who already write exams are encouraged to bring past exam materials, as writing new material and adjusting pre-used content can both work well.

PLEASE NOTE: You may still participate in the hands-on workshop even if you are not able to attend the Teaching & Learning Talk.
