Location

Join us for our last official October group ride! The Colonial Parkway will be closed to traffic from Kingspoint to Jamestown Settlement, making it one of the few chances we'll have to enjoy these historic roads with minimal risk. All skill levels are welcome: no one is left behind, and there are options for shorter routes. We plan on stopping at Charly's Airport Restaurant for lunch. New food, beautiful scenery, and good company, what more can you ask for?

There are two distance options for this ride: 

27 miles (intermediate) - 9:30 am start - RWGPS

19 miles (beginner/intermediate) - 10:00am start - Strava - RWGPS

Show up a few minutes before the route you want to join to check in and make sure your bike is ready for the road. Bring cash or card for lunch.

As always, helmets are required. If you don't have one, there are some available for purchase at the Parking & Transportation Office for $10 each.

If you haven't already done so, be sure to also sign the Participant Agreement for this academic year. This is required in order to participate in all Bike Alliance rides.
