Registration begins at 8 am at the McLeod Tyler Wellness Center and the walk will last until around 11:30 am. Each year, families affected by mental illnesses travel to Williamsburg for this walk to come together for an important cause. Attendees are invited to don necklaces provided at the walk to symbolize the reason for their participation. Last year, the event's success raised just shy of $20,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
