Thinking about going to graduate school? Whether you are currently working on applications or just entertaining the idea of graduate school, this workshop will give you insight into the process of selecting and applying to graduate programs, including how to prepare for the dreaded graduate school exams. We will focus not only on research-oriented graduate degrees, but also professional degrees. Specific focus will be given to studying for graduate tests such as the GRE, MCAT, LSAT, etc. This workshop will appeal to rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors, in that we will talk about how to prepare for graduate school over the course of your time at W&M, providing a timeline to help you prepare. An inside look at the application process, statements of purpose, letters of recommendation, financial planning, and other aspects will be given. Dinner is provided.
