[PAST EVENT] What's New in Blackboard Learn

This session is designed to address some of the most popular new and updated features in Blackboard, along with a deeper look at existing tools that support and enhance the student and instructor experience.
New in Tests and Quizzes: Delivering assessments on Blackboard? See how you can now easily create exceptions for individual students and groups. We will also look at updates to the Test Canvas that make it even easier to add questions to a Blackboard test.
Introduction to In-line Assignment Grading: Tired of the time-consuming "download-save-annotate-upload-grade" cycle for Blackboard assignments? Learn how in-line assignment grading reduces time spent accessing student work and increases your connection to students via in-line annotation, video commenting, and more!
Rubrics: Rubrics can be created and associated to a Blackboard assignment, test questions, blogs, journals, wikis and discussions; we'll discuss how to add, edit and make rubrics visible to students to support increased efficiency and interaction.
SafeAssign: We'll provide an overview of the plagiarism detection built in to Blackboard, and share our plans to incorporate this tool even more deeply into the course environment.
Grade Center: We'll discuss how the above assessment activities relate to the Grade Center, and provide a brief overview of managing the Grade Center and reports.
Activity Reports: Student engagement is measured in a number of ways, including time on task. We'll look at the User Activity report and how it relates to the content and activities delivered out of your Blackboard course.
