We will be sorting donated food, working in their community garden, and helping out with their backpack lunch program. On a larger scale, Branch Out seeks for its participants to be active citizens. Beyond just working at a food bank for a day, we will be exploring issues of food access and understanding how food intersects with discussions of race, class, health, education, and more. In order to sign up, you can go to OCE office, on the 3rd floor of Blow Hall, room 326A and there will be a $5 deposit to save the spot. Space is limited!
