[PAST EVENT] W&M Prey Lang Support Chapter Meeting

The Prey Lang Community Network is a grassroots movement of mostly indigenous Cambodians who have been fighting back against illegal logging, mining, and other threats to the majestic forest they call home.
In an effort to further support the efforts of the PLCN to combat deforestation in Cambodia, the ILS and the Student Environmental Action Law Society (SEALS) have teamed up to create a joint initiative: the William and Mary Prey Lang Support Chapter.
After a short presentation on the deforestation of Cambodia's Prey Lang forest, we will break up into break-out sessions in which attendees can learn more about Prey Lang through a Q&A, brainstorm ideas on how we can help, join the Prey Lang social media campaign, and take fun "solidarity pictures" in order to support the "Prey Lang is OUR Forest Too!" campaign.
