Full Description
During fall 2013, several William & Mary students took the course "Out of the Shadows: Women of the Civil Rights Movement" in which they wrote biographies of local women who have contributed and are still contributing to the betterment of life on the Peninsula. These student-researched biographies will be displayed in a poster exhibit in Swem Library. The library will be hosting a reception to celebrate the exhibit opening. Light refreshments served. Sponsored by the Lemon Project and Swem Library Special Collections Research Center.
