Angi Kane: Brooklyn’s Accidental Farmer

Angi Kane is the Creative Director and owner of Jolly's Mill Pond, a 200-year-old tree farm and pond in Williamsburg, VA. She is also an Emmy award-winning filmmaker from New York and the creator of The Raw Land Startup. In this event, Kane will share about the unexpected path she took to sustainable agriculture and the challenges faced along the way. She'll explore the possibilities that exist in small-scale farming and talk briefly about Jolly's history. For those interested in pursuing sustainable farming, or anyone interested in learning more about their local off-grid farm, please join us on November 8th, in Washington 302 from 4-5PM.
