Each year, the President’s Office and the Office of Government Relations sponsor a trip to Richmond while the General Assembly is in session, during which students have the opportunity to listen and learn from legislators, legislative staff, and representatives of the Governor’s Office. 

This event is open to any W&M student, regardless of major or year. It is a great way to learn about state government and learn from W&M alumni working in Richmond.

Students will take a bus from campus to Richmond on Tuesday, February 20th, departing in the morning at 8:15am and arriving back to campus at 7:30pm. Lunch will be provided.
