Learning how to handle difficult conversations and develop community strategies to mitigate conflict is often something individuals like to avoid. However, gaining competency in managing hard conversations helps improve campus culture and move past disagreements. I’m excited to see that the Ombudsman’s Office and Office of Faculty Affairs are sponsoring a speaker for a workshop on the topic.
