Syndicate Hip Hop Dance Team, Emerald Elite Stomp n Shake, and Zodiacs Dance Crew is excited to welcome speaker Dr. Travis Harris to give a talk about hip hop. Travis Harris, Ph.D., is the Editor in Chief for the Journal of Hip Hop Studies. His research examines the multiple dimensions of African diasporas with a specific focus on race, religion, Hip Hop and Black male studies. As an interdisciplinary freedom fighting scholar, he analyzes the complexities of Black life.

He taught at William and Mary until recently and we hope you can show up to give him a warm welcome back to campus and learn more about hip hop!
