[PAST EVENT] Native Plant Walk

College Landing Park, in Williamsburg on South Henry St. just north of Rt. 199
Helen Hamilton and Gus Hall, both members of the John Clayton Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society, will lead a native plant walk at College Landing Park, located in Williamsburg on South Henry St. just north of Rt. 199, where over 100 species of native plants are growing in the marshes along the river, on a dry hillside and in upland woods. Expect to see mistletoe (up close!), a mountain disjunct oak, two species of locust trees and two species of hackberry, as well as blooming camphorweed, seashore mallow, pennywort, purple love-grass and water grass.

The walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
