[PAST EVENT] [AMP] Slam Poetry with G Yamazawa

AMP's Contemporary & Culture Issues committee is hosting an evening of slam poetry this Friday in Lodge 1. Open Mic for students begins at 9:00 pm followed by a performance by Washington DC slam poet G. Yamazowa of Busboys and Poets at 10:30 pm. Directly following the performances, stick around to hear Mr. Yamazawa discuss his work as a poet and lead a workshop for anyone interested in writing or performing poetry.
