Alumni Webinar
Developing POP (a Professional Online Presence)!
Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing, Dr. Dawn Edmiston
Too often we take for granted first impressions and how others perceive us. However, such perceptions frequently form the basis for personal and professional success. And today, many first impressions are made online through search engines and social networks. Online information implicitly brands people, whether we explicitly choose to develop a personal brand or not.
This session will outline how to develop and establish a professional online presence. Attendees will learn about changing market dynamics that impact how we communicate and will examine tools that can be leveraged to create and sustain a professional online profile. The insights and resources shared in this presentation will be valuable to attendees in understanding how marketing trends can be applied to advance both their professional roles as well as their personal brands.
A link to the webinar will be distributed to all registered participants prior to the beginning of the program.
This webinar is offered at no charge to College of William & Mary alumni.
