[PAST EVENT] TribeTHON

12pm - 10pm
TribeTHON is an event celebrating and raising money for the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
THON is a giant 10-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon to celebrate our active fight against pediatric illness and to stand on our feet for those who can't.The event will include varied entertainment, including performances from two student DJs -- KC Malone '15 and Nathaniel Chen '16 -- and performances by the Gentlemen of the College, Reveille, the Tribal Dancers, Syndicate and the Bboy team!
This event will unite student organizations, faculty and staff, local businesses, and families to stand and support CHKD. We work with the families at CHKD to provide a fun, safe environment for the kids to celebrate their fight against illnesses where they will not have to worry about hospital beds, tests or surgeries.
Nationally, Dance Marathon has chapters at over 170 high schools and colleges. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals treat over 17 million patients each year and provide $2.5 billion in charity (uncompensated) each year. Much of this amount comes from dance marathons, just like TribeTHON.
So come out from 12PM to 10PM on February 14th to celebrate these incredible kids and support the hospital that continues to improve lives. We dance to give hope. We dance because we're thankful that we're able to. We stand for those who can't. William & Mary TribeTHON will represent our campus, and everything we do, as being #FORTHEKIDS.
