Abstract: Because of the fast development of high-performance computers in the past decades, computer experiments have been widely applied to model real-world systems in many areas of engineering and physical sciences. The complex input-output relationships in computer experiments increase the demands of elegant data-driven techniques. In this talk, I will review the basics in design and modeling of computer experiments, such as, Latin hypercube based space-filling design and Gaussian process emulation and calibration. I will also talk about my recent work on Bayesian sequential calibration for computer model.
