[PAST EVENT] 4th Annual Sustainability Summit: Food for Thought, Food for Action
The Committee on Sustainability, with the Office of Community Engagement and the Environmental Science and Policy Department, presents the 4th Annual Sustainability Summit: Food for Thought, Food for Action. The Summit brings together campus and community to engage on sustainable food issues, such as hunger, environmental impacts, and the cultural legacy of what we eat.
The Summit will take place on Friday, November 4th from 1 to 4 PM in Sadler Tidewater A. Panelists for the event include student Zhuowei Huang of the Food Recovery Network, Savannah Williams of South of Ferry Farm, and Professor Daniel Maliniak of the Government Department. Campus Kitchen and SEAC Gardening will hold workshops. Exciting keynote speaker announcement coming soon!
