Because of the internet, ease of travel and innate global curiosity, the world is a much ?smaller? place for our graduates. And yet colleges and universities have not kept pace with these changes, leaving our students less well-prepared to confront emerging global challenges. Professor Joseph Wong of the University of Toronto will discuss various strategies that he and his colleagues have employed to cultivate the next generation of global leaders, including multidisciplinary classrooms, challenge-based courses and meaningful global experiences.

Joseph Wong is the Halbert Professor of Innovation Policy at the Munk School, and Professor and Canada Research Chair in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto, where he is also the Director of the Asian Institute at the Munk School of Global Affairs.

All faculty and graduate students are invited to this Teaching Project workshop. Lunch will be provided. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Joel Schwartz, jxschw@wm.edu
