[PAST EVENT] Mary Mitchell Speaker Series presents Dr. Stephen Enniss
Join William & Mary Libraries on Tuesday, April 11 at 5:30 p.m. for First Acts of Scholarship: Sixty Years of Growth of American Research Collections, a lecture by Dr. Stephen Enniss.
Dr. Enniss will use the establishment of the Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas, now called the Harry Ransom Center, as a case study for the growth of our country?s research collections more broadly. He will conclude with some reflections on the state of the humanities today, and the value of the cultural work our research institutions perform.

The event will be held in Swem Library's Ford Classroom, ground floor. Reception to follow. Refreshments will be provided.
