The WMASA Student Chapter is a statistics club that was formed to promote interest in Statistics, and to provide networking opportunities and resources to students. It is funded and sponsored by the ASA (American Statistical Association). Some opportunities include:
- Actuarial (Exam P) Prep sessions (email [[e|rjwang]] for more information)
- Statistics@Work seminars and student seminars
- Joining an R learning group and working to form a team for the ASA Datafest competition
- Going to the JSM Statistical Conference in Vancouver in August 2018 as a student group (optional and if enough interest is shown)
