Mark Gabel is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California at Davis, where he has been working in the area of Software Engineering with Zhendong Su. His research interests center around automation in software engineering, including program analysis, programming languages and developer productivity tools.

He has interned with Microsoft Research, Silicon Valley, and has held several other industrial software engineering positions, most recently at SRI International. While at UC Davis, he has received an ARCS fellowship and a departmental Best Graduate Researcher award.
