Campus Protests & Free Speech: An Interactive Panel
Campus Protests & Free Speech: An Interactive Panel

Student Affairs, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and the Student Assembly invite students, faculty, and staff to participate in a forum discussion on the intersection between First Amendment rights and protests on public university campuses.

Dean Douglas will present hypothetical ?speech scenarios? involving free speech on campus with commentary and discussion to follow by Professor Hamilton, Dean Thomas, and Professor Zick. Audience members will participate in electronic polling for each scenario (bring a cell phone or other internet-enabled device) and have the opportunity to engage the panel in questions.
