Vadanan Shiva

Vandana Shiva trained as a physicist at the University of Punjab and later shifted to interdisciplinary research in science, technology, and environmental policy. She has campaigned internationally on issues surrounding biotechnology and genetic engineering, and has contributed in fundamental ways to changing the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food. This is a featured event of W&M Earth Week, sponsored in partnership with W&M Sustainability through the student Green Fee.
