Join Dr. Randy Chambers, Director of the Keck Environmental Lab at William & Mary, as he discusses his research on Diamondback Terrapins. Diamondback Terrapins are truly unique as they are the only turtle species in the U.S. that lives in estuarine environments. Dr. Chambers will explain their life history as well as the threats they face and how his research is helping to understand and reduce those threats.

This Discovery Lab is intended for all ages and will include a pre-recorded talk by Dr. Chambers posted on the CBNERR Facebook page. There will also be resources posted that you can use to further your learning at home. Dr. Chambers and CBNERR educators will be available to answer questions via the comments section on the CBNERR Facebook page from 6-7:00 pm.
