Join us at Swem Library for the Mary Mitchell ’85 Homecoming Author Breakfast featuring Erin Spencer ’14. During her time at W&M, she majored in Ecology, was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Mortar Board, Development Ambassadors, and the Student Alumni Council. Her work as a marine ecologist and National Geographic Explorer has been featured on National Geographic, PBS, CBS Sunday Morning, and Oceans Conservancy. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Predator Ecology and Conservation lab at Florida International University, where she studies the hammerhead sharks and their prey. She will be talking about her new children’s book, The World of Coral Reefs. This book is perfect for the budding ocean explorers in your life! The W&M Bookstore will be on site for book sales and Erin will be signing copies following her presentation. Event is free and open to all!
