[PAST EVENT] Latin American Resistance & Change Panel
Access & Features
- Open to the public
In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, the Beta Delta Chapter of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. will be hosting a panel and discussion on the Latin American diaspora and its different experiences with adversity. We will discuss how channels of art, music, traditions, language and more have served as forms of resistance throughout history.
We have invited a panel of Latinx professors from William & Mary, including Dr. Barko-Alva, Galeana-Rodriguez, Dr. Rivera Santana, and Dr. Monika Gosin, who will speak on the intersection between Latin American resistance, change, and their fields of study.
This event will be held on October 5th, 7PM in Tidewater A. If you would like to join virtually, please RSVP to the Zoom link: https://cwm.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJEpdO6tqT4rGd0DCss9JlbhW3-LNDTprxIM
We hope to SIA there!
