The Geology Department will be hosting its first seminar of the spring semester. We would like to extend a warm welcome to Joanmarie Del Vecchio who will be presenting "Small satellites, big data, and the fate of permafrost landscapes." The presentation will last approximately 1 hour. Anyone is able to attend, no registration required. We greatly encourage all geology majors to attend this seminar and a reminder to juniors that it is mandatory to attend at least two seminars this semester as part of your GEOL 404 course.
