Start your year off right with AMP?s annual Welcome Back Concert on September 1st! Join SMALLPOOLS with special guest Stop Light Observations at The Martha Wren Briggs Amphitheatre at Lake Matoaka to send off the summer and get a fresh start this school year. Admission is FREE with a William & Mary ID, $10 for the general public. Doors are at 7 pm, the show starts at 8pm!
Smallpools is an electrifying indie pop/alternative band from Los Angeles, CA. Forming in early 2013, the group released their debut single "Dreaming" on RCA Records, May 21, 2013. The group released their debut album, Lovetap!, in 2015 and recently released their new EP, The Science of Letting Go, in August of 2017! Smallpools music can be compared to the likes of Passion Pit, Foster the People, and Jukebox the Ghost!
Stop Light Observations, out of Charleston, SC, plays a unique style described as Southern-Retro-Electro-Rock. They claim their drive is the fun and spirit of performing and creating great songs, but most of all the camaraderie that is shared with this group of life long southern friends
Come out, listen to some sweet music and have a great time relaxing under the stars!
